blue door

this is one of many photos i have taken from the farm we stay on every year up in the lakes. there's just so much to photograph, so much that grabs your attention. people wander round somewhere like a farm and would be thinking "ew this place is filthy".
but just look at it... it's beautiful.

Wow Gaz, I LOVE it!!
What captures me is the vertical lines of the door and the horizontal lines of the brick...side by side....I love patterns like this!
And thrown in the mix is the round door knocker and square grate! FANTASTIC!

And the colors are amazing also!

Gorgeous shot. I love the contrast of colors & textures, the straight lines with the jagged edges, and the perfect roundness of the door handle against the rectangular shapes of the door and wall. Perfection.
