I notice that many of your shots, like this one, have a really nice darkening around the corners. Is that a photoshop treatment or some artifact of your camera settings? If the former, can you share how you apply it?
scott, it's something i do in psp9 (hard light effect and just darken the edges with the airbrush). i'm not particularly pleased with the result myself but it creates wuite a nice effect. i've downloaded some software called gimp, and there's an effect called lomo that mimics the wonderful effect you get when using a 'lomo lc-a' camera. time will tell whether this is an effect i keep using.

Here's a howdy-do from Arkansas. I think that hat is practical and fun, just the kind a kid would want to wear. Even this adult wanted to wear it.
