rush hour in dalkey...

we were on our way to somewhere or other when i spotted this scene off to the side. of course i pulled over without explaination to my passengers.

"what are you doing gaz?" asked my wife.

to which one of our boys replied "he's probably going to take a picture!"

am i really getting that predictable!...

that's dalkey island in the distance complete with it's martello tower.

the beautiful 2 mile stretch of sandy beach at brittas bay, county wicklow, ireland.

it's quite remote. we were there about 6 hours and saw 4 other people in all that time.

snapped this while sat at traffic lights waiting to cross the liffey - the river that runs through the centre of dublin.

pronounced 'dee-a-gweev', this is how you say hello to more than one person. i'm hoping there's more than one of you still visits since i've been inactive for so long. anywho, i've been to ireland so i'll be posting some photos from thereabouts. hope you are all well and i'll be trying to get round to seeing my fave blogs very soon.
