apparently he's a crazy superstar

brum
"brum's a supercar who'll always be right there for you
stoppin' crooks from getting away
a crazy superstar he's racing everywhere for you
brum's in town saving the day!"

going home...

longing to give my wife a big bear hug to let her know i'm there for her.
waiting with anticipation to hear what my boys have been up to at the end of a long day.
listening to chris evans on radio 2 ask a kid "what have you done for the first time today?".
grateful that even with bad traffic, my journey home only takes me 15 minutes.
awestruck at how my brain interprets light into images.

remember children...

keep your ears warm by wearing the appropriate headgear.

not so golden now...

leaves in the fall come tumbling down,
scarlet and yellow, russet and brown,
leaves in the garden are swept in a heap,
the trees are ready for sleep.

flood defences

these lead from the town to the beach. a lot of llandudno is below sea level, so when there's the threat of a flood they open these hatches along the shore to let the excess water out to sea. seems like a good idea. they haven't been used since their installation.

west shore

another shot from llandudno. this one sums up pretty well the weather we had while we were there.
i like it - it's pretty moody.

the pink prisoner

we went to llandudno this w/e. after depositing my family safely out of harms way i headed down to the scrapyard to have a wander around and get some 'cool' photos of some beaten up old motors. unfortunately there was a jobsworth on the gate and wouldn't allow me past to get a single shot, mumbling something about health and safety. i tried to assure him wasn't going to climb about on top of anything, but he didn't seem convinced - i must have had that look in my eye. so i had to settle for this over-the-fence shot.

yellow flower

i have no idea what flower this is but we have shed loads of them growing in our garden. i just thought it looked quite cool.

14-15

looking back through some old photos i played with and (without checking back) i don't think i actually posted this one. taken around may this year at the park out back.
